The Ohio University softball stadium had significant vertical and horizontal drainage issues resulting in standing water in the infield and conditioner water wash in foul territory. Creative Grounds Group went in and took a soil probe to determine the amount of old conditioner preventing the water from draining vertically.
To solve the drainage issues, four inches of the old material was removed and recapped with new DuraEdge product. The entire surface was laser graded and topped off with new field conditioner.
Below are a series of photos showcasing the renovation process.
